My camera was accidentally left soaking in water for about 5 days. Any tips on how to revive my camera?
I have already tried opening the battery slot, taking out the battery, and letting it dry. It has been drying for about a day. I would really appreciate your answers because my camera was a gift and she would get very mad if she saw that I wasn’t using it and that I had broken it.
You have got to be joking surely!!!
No matter how much you dry it out it will still be damaged as the water will have gotten into the electronics and have basically ruined it. Even if by some miracle it did start working again, the joints will be starting to corrode and it will pack up again very shortly.
Just how on earth do you “accidentally” leave it soaking in water for 5 days??
Just fess up and admit what you have done.
