Msn Mic Camera
Webcam SW900, can not install necessary sofware?
Hi, I have a ACER Aspire 5050-3465. I bought this camera to use on MSN. But when i installed the driver and plugged the camera for the system to automaticalluy install the necessaru software, i get this message -error while installing USB microphone-.. please help. by the way th camera comes with a headset and mic.. thxs
Does your Acer 5050 laptop have a built-in webcam and microphone? According to Acer, not all sub-models do.
If so, and both are enabled (see User Manual), MSN should work perfectly. You don’t need an external Web Cam.
If Not, “i get this message -error while installing USB microphone-..”, the part you left out is what we need to see. Half an Error Message is useless to us!
Please re-post with the full Error Message, word for word, and then maybe we can help.
TIP: Install the software FIRST, then reboot, and then connect the external webcam, etc.
